Christmas at Rock Ranch

Christmas at Rock Ranch

We were generously provided with tickets from The Rock Ranch to experience Christmas at Rock Ranch. All opinions are my own.

Last night, we took our kids to The Rock Ranch to enjoy their Christmas experience. We had such a blast. Located just south of Atlanta, The Rock Ranch has done a phenomenal job of creating a really special Country Christmas experience

At The Rock Ranch, you will truly feel like you are in the Christmas spirit. My favorite thing about the entire evening was how family friendly every detail of Christmas activities were at The Rock Ranch. It’s really evident that The Rock Ranch has created an experience that not only brings Christmas magic to life, but they also make sure the entire family can do everything together.

When you arrive at The Rock Ranch property, you ride a covered wagon through Christmas lights. There are so many wonderful Christmas light displays to see as you ride! Make sure you dress warmly and you bring blankets for the wagon ride! It makes the wagon ride even more cozy!

When you arrive at The Rock Ranch Barn, there is so much to do! You will want to visit with Gabby the Goat (who is so hilarious and engaging with the kids). Of course, Santa and the elves have Santa’s sleigh there for kids to meet Santa and parents can take lots of pictures.

You can also buy tickets for Santa’s Workshop. In Santa’s Workshop, kids will get to participate in Christmas story time (my kids enjoyed listening to The Elf on the Shelf). The Elf who read the book was a WONDERFUL storyteller. I always love when the storyteller is enthusiastic! We even had Gabby the Goat show up during the story time. My kids couldn’t stop giggling at how silly Gabby was being! You also get to write a letter to Santa, create a personalized ornament, enjoy face painting, and decorate sugar cookies! There is also a bouncy house for kids to enjoy.

If you need dinner or a snack, there is a lot of different food options available at The Rock Ranch. You can grab a coffee, hot chocolate or apple cider as you wander around (don’t worry, there is also soft drinks, water and sweet tea available). If you want a sweet treat, they have pie, cakes and cookies available. If you need dinner, they have Chick-Fil-A, chili, soup, and sandwiches available.

There are so many places to seat and stay warm! Inside the barn, you can sit at one of the beautifully decorated tables (each table has coloring pages and crayons for the littles!).

You If you need to get gifts for family and friends, The Rock Ranch has you covered. They had apparel, specialty foods, and toys available to purchase.

Of course, make sure you get tickets for the Polar Express train. We were so excited to ride the Polar Express train, we had already watched The Polar Express movie and read The Polar Express book. My kids were REALLY excited to ride the train. Talk about bringing a book to life! You will meet the conductor, train hopper, and the engineer. The train ride includes Christmas music and snow! We loved the Polar Express train ride! In fact, my kids immediately asked if we could ride it again! Even when we had to wait for the train or the trolley to pick us up, I was SO impressed that there were fire pits, warming stations and heat lamps available to help keep everyone nice and warm.

Every single employee we encountered at The Rock Ranch was incredibly friendly and engaging. They made our entire family feel so welcomed. I also couldn’t help but notice how The Rock Ranch had set up so many different photo booth opportunities throughout the property with great lighting so families could take a photo (or more!).

The Rock Ranch does all sorts of really fun things for families, groups, field trips and more throughout the entire year. They have covered wagons for camping (this is on my bucket list!)!! There is also other fun family activities available like an egg hunt, Fall activities and more.
